Anti-encroachment squad of City District Government Karachi during an action on Saturday recovered 100 acres of land worth about Rs 500 million near Northern Bypass. The recovered land which is located in Keamari and Gadap Town was allotted by Board of Revenue for relocation of whole sale markets near Northern Bypass.
The anti-encroachment squad razed concerted structures and boundary wall with heavy machinery as no resistance was seen during the action. This may be noted that the city government has so far recovered nearly 600 acres of land worth billions of rupees in its ongoing campaign against the encroachments.
