32 health inspectors appointed in Lahore

Director Health Information Management System Dr Muhammad Anwar Janjua said the Punjab health department has appointed 32 health inspectors in Lahore to implement the dengue control regulations in letter and spirit. Talking to journalists Dr Janjua said that 100 nurses have also been appointed in four DHQ hospitals of Lahore.
Three Mos and two WMOs have also been posted besides providing a haematology analyser machine to Government Mian Munshi Hospital Lahore. He further said that around ten medical officers have been appointed at Government Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital Lahore. The hospital has also been provided with a haematology analyser machine and two CBC machines.
According to him, 275 confirmed dengue patients have been reported in Punjab during the last 24 hours, out of which, 200 patients belong to Lahore. The total number of reported dengue patients in Punjab reached 15035, out of them 12961 belong to Lahore. Up till now, 14760 patients have been treated and discharged from the hospitals out of which 12761 belonged to Lahore. Whereas, at present 1517 patients were under treatment in different hospitals of the province out of which 1224 patients were admitted in different hospitals of Lahore.
