Sindh police on Friday claimed to have recovered two siblings, who were abducted for ransom on October 5, 2011, in the jurisdiction of Preedy police station. According to the police, two abductees Shezad Ahmad and Jawad Ahmad, who were goldsmith by their profession, got missing from Saddar Sarafa market.
The police in this regard registered a case 604/11 against Abdul Basit, who had a gold testing laboratory in Saddar Sarafa market, on the complaint of Rehan. They said the Preedy police on a tipoff conducted raid near Passport office and arrested the nominated person Rehan. Furthermore, they said the accused Rehan during initial course of investigation revealed that he had financial disputes with the siblings hence both Shezad and Jawad were got kidnapped through Lyari gangster Mullah Nisar group.
The police further said they had recovered both abductees on the information of detained person from Daar Khan road and added that the raids were being conducted for the arrests of Mullah Nisar, Aamir, Sohail, Imran and Babar, who were allegedly involved in this kidnapping incident.
