EPD seals four commercial units

CDGL Environment protection department (EPD), in connection with its anti-dengue campaign, sealed four commercial units on Multan road. EPD sources told newsmen on Friday that during inspection at Ali Park Multan road, four commercial units namely Allied crane service, Saadullah Khan engineering service, Sheikh Zahoor goods and Al-Awan goods were found to be ignoring anti-dengue precautionary guideline.
Water in old tyres and goods was providing breeding conditions for dengue causing mosquitoes. All the four units had been sealed and notices were served under Punjab Local Government Ordinance 2001, sources added.
