The four ministers and advisors of Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) have refused to leave their portfolios, reliable sources told Business Recorder on Friday. The portfolios of Youth Affairs, Auqaf and Information Technology had been given to PML-F's Jam Madad Ali, Rafiq Banbhan and Imtiaz Shaikh, respectively, which were previously with the ministers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
While the PML-F's Imamudin Shoqeen is also an advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for mineral and mines who has been working in Sindh cabinet PPP-led provincial government came to power. This was disclosed by the PML-F's leader and minister for Youth Affairs Jam Madad Ali while talking to Business Recorder. He said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has called the meeting of our party's ministers and advisors at Chief Minister's House.
He said that Qaim Ali Shah told his party that MQM rejoined the government so that their 14 ministers have to continue their services as well. He said that Chief Minister told us that three portfolios Youth Affairs, Auqaf and Information Technology were with the ministers of MQM so that PML-F should leave these for MQM.
Jam Madad Ali said that they have refused to leave the portfolios and asked Syed Qaim Ali Shah to discuss the matter with party Chief Pir Pagara. On the other hand, talking to media, PML-F's head Pir Pagara has also refused to do so and asked PPP for "getting sacrifice" from their party ministers instead of PML-F's ministers and advisors.
