Durrani made IB chief

Inspector General of Police (Sindh) Wajid Durrani was appointed Director General of Intelligence Bureau (IB) in place of Javed Noor, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, Durrani will assume the new charge on Monday and decision about appointment of new Inspector General of Police (Sindh) will also be taken the same day.
DG IB Javed Noor has been retired from government service. Additional Inspector General Saud Mirza was assigned additional powers of the IGP for the time being. Fayyaz Leghari and Mushtaq Shahid are two strong candidates for Sindh police chief slot.
