Rice prices up amid thin trade on grain market

Rice prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in process of low business, market sources said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3650 and Irri-6 Sindh new quoted higher at Rs 3550-3600, other items did not show any change in process of trading, they said.
Only one change was seen on the seed side, where cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh showed mixed trend as low quality shed Rs 50 to Rs 1100 and good type rose the same amount to Rs 1300, they said. Prices on the cereal and grams counters held the overnight levels, they said.
