President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shahzad Ali Malik, inaugurated the ninth edition of international plastic and packaging industry exhibition incorporating food processing and chemicals - Plasti & Pack PAKISTAN 2011, at the Expo Centre, Lahore.
The event, actively supported by Ministry of Food & Agriculture, Board of Investment, Engineering Development Board, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Pakistan Society of Food Scientists and Technologists, All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchants Association, attracted high profile audience including numerous business delegates, counsel generals and buyers.
During the visit to the exhibition, Shahzad Ali Malik President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce met local and foreign participants at their booths and exchange views about the potential of their products for the local market. One of the participant at the exhibition highlighted that the future of plastics industry is in flexible packaging for consumer and bio degradable products which is an emerging trend in the global market for safe and healthy environment.
Plasti & Pack 2011 takes pride in showcasing the demonstration of 'Made in Pakistan' three-layer film extrusion line for the first time in the country on international standards for food packaging. Further, the show also showcased pp woven bag making looms, food processing lines, conversion line for packaging, labelling machines, food chemicals and raw materials, pipe extrusion, flexible packaging machines, plastic raw material and chemicals etc. The show offers latest in plastics, printing & packaging materials and machinery for all manufacturing and processing industries along with food ingredients & chemical products.-PR
