Saleem Shahzad murder case: written reply submitted by ISI to Supreme Court

A written reply relating to journalist Syed Saleem Shahzad murder was submitted by Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) to the Judicial Commission probing the killing on Tuesday. ISI Sector Commander Brigadier Zahid appeared before the Commission for submission of reply and responded to the queries, made by the Commission, however, the spy agency official will be present on the next date of the proceedings, sources maintained.
The meeting of the Commission was held in the premises of the Supreme Court with Justice Saqib Nisar in the chair while Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Binyamin, Punjab IGP Javed Iqbal and Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists President Pervez Shaukat attended the hearing of the Commission. The Commission adjourned the proceedings till October 4.
