'India will itself ask for Kashmir resolution'

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that time is coming soon when India will itself ask for resolution of the Kashmir Issue after diplomatic efforts of the Pakistan Peoples Party government for resolving the issue according to the aspirations of the people of Kashmir and Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference at the Governor's House on Saturday, he said that graveyards were filled to capacity and many mass graves had been discovered in Kashmir, so the international community should pay attention to the region. He said, "The Kashmiri people are making efforts for their rights and the PPP government is committed to resolving the core issue of the region as per the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto."
He told the media that revelations of WikiLeaks that the Kashmir issue was about to be resolved were baseless and former President General (R) Pervez Musharraf had no agenda to resolve it. "Now India has admitted the issue of Kashmir due efforts of the PPP," he added.
"The Kashmiri people will not compromise on their right to self-determination and the issue cannot proceed without the participation of the people of the region," he added. He said Pakistan was neither interfering in Occupied Kashmir and nor training camps of militants existed there. "The Kashmiri people are making efforts for their liberty without the help of any foreign organisation and India is responsible of bloodshed in Kashmir," he added.
To a question about rift among Kashmiri organisations, Sardar Yaqoob said that all Kashmiri organisations were making efforts for their rights and all had a one-point agenda of liberty. To another query, he told the media that recent elections of AJK were cleanest and most transparent in history due to which the common man had reached parliament instead of feudal lords who had been ruling for the last sixty years.
He said the whole world was focusing on Pakistan due to its geographical position and many international powers wanted to weaken it but the government of Pakistan was in strong hands and suffering was temporary and the US would always need Pakistan's support to achieve its goals. He said that all political parties of Pakistan should be united to overcome the dengue virus and help flood affected people of Sindh.
