The gold price on Saturday continued to nosedive by Rs 1500 per tola to Rs 57, 000 after the global market prices slumped by $54 an ounce, traders said. The price of gold per 10 grams receded by Rs 1585 to Rs 48, 857 on the local market. On the international market, the precious metal''s price went down to $1657 an ounce down by $54, traders added.
