Sitara Peroxide Limited has posted Rs 166.251 million as profit after tax in the year ended June 30, 2011 (FY11) as compared to after tax loss of Rs 179.145 million recorded in FY10. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on September 19, 2011 declared that the company's earning per share stood at Rs 3.02 in the period under review against per share loss of Rs 3.25 in the same period last year.
According to the financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange, the company's sales increased to Rs 1,289.332 million in FY11 against Rs 714.986 million in FY10. The cost of sales increased to Rs 785.848 million against Rs 694.845 million. The company posted Rs 179.434 million as profit before taxation in FY11 against before tax loss of Rs 272.887 million in FY10.
