Hunarmand programme: WBDC holds guidance session for women entrepreneurs
Women Business Development Centre (WBDC), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday organised an orientation session for guidance of skilled women entrepreneurs about the Hunarmand Scheme. The skilled women entrepreneurs guided about the programme through a multi media.
The Bank of Khyber (BoK), Credit Officer (Consumer & Micro Finance Department), Bahar Ali delivered a comprehensive lecture and informed about entire procedure and other prerequisite for availing the benefit. Talking to a group of journalists, WBDC project Manager, Nabeela Farman said that the orientation session's aim was to provide guideline and other procedural means regarding the Hunarmand Programme.
She said that the introductory workshop would be helpful for skilled women entrepreneurs. Kiran Yousuf, supervisor WBDC Display Centre said that more than 20 skilled women entrepreneurs participated in the introductory workshop. She said that the training participants had informed about different steps and procedural verification for availing the benefit, saying that the women entrepreneurs took keen interest to learn more about the scheme.
After the information session, she expressed the hope that the skilled women businesspersons would get benefit from the scheme, which has also clearly much of complexity about different steps essential for applying for the programme. She informed that the WBDC had also issued application forms to women entrepreneurs after successful completion of the session.
