Commerce Minister Amin Faheem is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on September 25 on 6-day official visit to India for discussing trade related issued between the two countries. An official in the Ministry of Commerce told APP here on Monday that the ministerial level bilateral trade talks are scheduled to be held from September 26 to October 1 in Delhi.
He said that this would be a follow-up of talks held between the Secretaries of the two countries at Islamabad and New Delhi for promotion of trade and business ties between the two countries. During Amin's visit, minister to minister level talks would be held to resolve the concerns of business communities of the two sides. Both tariff and non-tariff barriers are also likely to be discussed during the 6-day meetings to enhance trade and business activities between the two countries.
He said that the ministerial level talks would discuss amendments in the existing positive and negative items' lists, and veto on EU concession by India would also be included in the agenda of the bilateral talks. He said that business communities from all chambers of commerce would participate in the conference to discuss all concerns they feel while handling the business activities between two countries.
