Low business on grain market

Small business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday as many traders were on the sidelines in expectations of slide in the prices as Ramazan is starting from next week, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat old Bardan and wheat mew Bardan lost Rs 25 to Rs 2500-2515, other items did not move any side in slow trading, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh picked up Rs 50 to Rs 3700-3800, other type retained the overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side castor seeds Sindh were quoted at Rs 2350-4000, cottonseed oilcakes with bag Sindh low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 1100 and better type shed Rs 50 to Rs 1150, they added.
