NEW YORK: The US Treasury Department on Thursday sold $28 billion of seven-year government notes at a yield of 2.370 percent, the highest yield at a seven-year auction since December 2013, Treasury data showed.
The ratio of bids to the amount of seven-year Treasuries offered was 2.55, the strongest reading since September. This gauge of overall auction demand was 2.36 at the previous seven-year note sale held in November.
