Hard red winter wheat basis bids held steady Wednesday, while lower and mid-level protein wheat supplies were noted drawing good demand. The ample supplies of high protein seen in the new crop helped push down premiums for higher levels, while premiums for mid-level protein to blend climbed. Kansas City Board of Trade July wheat ended up 2-1/2 cents on Tuesday at $8.03-1/2.
