Two women were killed and another injured when a man showered bullets on three sisters over a marriage feud. Police have confirmed on the spot death of two sisters namely Saima and Saira in the firing while third sister namely Sobia was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi in critical condition.
The three sisters were belonging to Attock district and were running a private girls hostel under the banner of Noor Girls Hostel in Lal Kurti area of Rawalpindi, located at the backyard of the General Headquarters. A man namely Asad fired upon them, resultantly two of them died on the spot, while the third is critically injured, said City Police Office (CPO) Rawalpindi, Azhar Hameed Khokhar while talking to media here on Monday.
He said that firing incident took place at Noor Girls Hostel Lal Kurti, when Asad, the individual who fired at the sisters and fled from the scene. Special team was constituted to arrest the culprit and orders for further investigation have been issued.
