The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) have signed a Memorandum of Underrating (MoU) for mutual co-operation. President KCCI, Mohammad Saeed Shaifq and Senior Executive Vice President Business Zone South PTCL, Abdulla Yousif Abdulla, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdulla Yousif Abdulla announced establishing a help desk at the chamber to facilitate members of the chamber to get all facilities as well as resolved their complaints. He announced to depute two officials to manage the help desk.
He said that the desk would act as one-window solution centre and extend the services of sales, marketing, resolution of complaints, issuance of duplicate bills along with other facilities.
He also announced to give special package for members of KCCI and all other trade bodies of the city. Referring to a compliant about Site telephone exchange, he assured that the fault would be rectified by June 1, 2011. He declared that no line rent would be charged if the dead or non-functioning phones are not rectified within 20 days. Filing a complaint in this regard is a must, he added. President KCCI, Mohammad Saeed Shaifq appreciated the signing of MoU which would pave the way to open new avenues of mutual co-operation. He appreciated the complimentary broadband being provided to KCCI.
