Minor changes in slow trade on grain market

Lean business was again witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday as most of the buyers were on the sidelines expecting fall in the rates, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 25 to Rs 3625 and good type, however, shed the same amount at Rs 3700, other types retained ruling prices in process of trading, they said.
On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh inferior type lost Rs 80 to Rs 1300, the good type, however, gained Rs 15 to Rs 1425, they said. Prices on the grams and cereal sectors fluctuated but closed at the weekend levels, they said.
