ABBOTTABAD: Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (HCCI), Abbottabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) and Hattar Industrial Associations (HIA) Sunday jointly presented a resolution to reinstate the Federal Tax Ombudsman office in Abbottabad.
The resolution was passed in a joint session
held in Abbottabad under the chairmanship of president ACCI Haji Iftikhar. In the meeting, it has been decided to formulate a strategy for the business community of the Hazara region through which issues particularly income tax, sales tax and business related issues could be resolved on this platform.
It has also decided that another session for the Battagram, Kohistan, Mansehra chambers and other business organization would be called.
Through the resolution, the joint session has demanded from KP government to authorize local office for partnership registration which would provide the facility to the local business community.
At the occasion members, Hazara Tax Bar Association also participated in the joint session and informed the meeting about the steps taken by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
