Yasir Shah now wants to shatter 80 years old record

Pakistan leg spinner Yasir Shah eyes to break 80 years old record to become the fastest bowler to 200 Test wickets.
“My aim is to perform wherever I play and in whichever format I play. I try to get maximum wickets for Pakistan. I have set my eyes on trying to take 35 wickets in the next seven matches to complete the record of fastest to 200 wickets,” the 31-year-old bowler said, quoted Geo.Tv.
The current record for the fastest to 200 Test wickets, belongs to Australian legbreak bowler Clarence Grimmett, who achieved the feat in only 36 Test matches, back in 1936.
Shah, who at the moment is working on improving his fitness levels, wants to perform for his country in all the three formats. He stated that he is currently working on his fitness and will try his level best to don the Green Shirts.
“I am trying to gel my place in for shorter formats as well. I am bowling well in domestic tournaments and leagues. I am now going to play the Big Bash League where I will try to perform well and prove myself eligible for T20s,” the bowler added.
