LHC disposes of petition after MWM leader appears in court

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday disposed of a petition filed for the recovery of Nasir Abbas Shirazi, deputy secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), after he appeared before the court.

Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmad heard the petition filed by Ali Abbas, brother of Nasir Shirazi, for his recovery.

Ali Abbas, through his petition, had sought directions for the recovery of his brother, who was allegedly kidnapped from Wapda Town, Lahore.

Nasir Shirazi reportedly reached his home Saturday last after remaining missing for a month.
