The government on Wednesday appointed Justice Rana Bhagwandas as Chairman of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), according to a notification. Meanwhile, he called on President Asif Ali Zardari and discussed matters pertaining to appointments in the bureaucracy. The president congratulated him on appointment as the chairman of FPSC and wished him success in his new assignment.
