Launching ceremony of Evernew Studios Karachi was held in the Studios on July 3. Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan inaugurated the studios and visited the state of the art sound stages in Evernew. The ceremony was attended by large number of guests from media and advertising industry.
CEO of Evernew Group Agha Sajjad Gul greeted the Governor and the guests in his welcome speech, he also described the incredible 72 years journey of Evernew since 1937 founded by his late father Agha G. A Gul. The video presentation of Evernew pictures, TV serials and TV commercials was also shown to the guests including legendary film stars Kamal, Nadeem Baig and Mustafa Qureshi.
In his speech, Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad urged the media people to come forward like Evernew and revive the film and entertainment industry. He offered his unconditional support to the industry. The ceremony was followed by a hilarious 'Loose Mushaira' conducted by Anwar Maqsood and performed by Moen Akhter, Qazi Wajid, Bchroz Subzwari, Shehzad Raza, Ayaz Khan and Ishmail. The guests enjoyed sarcastic and funny poetry by the poets and kept laughing throughout the 'Mushaira.'
The electronic media from various TV channels covered the event and took interviews of the celebrities at the red carpet. It was a memorable day and another milestone in Evernew's seven decades continued legacy.-PR
