LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange shed by 49.06 points on Tuesday as LSE-25 index opened with 3115.63 and closed at 3066.57 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.149 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.188 million shares, showing a downward slide of 39,322 shares. While, out of the total 106 active scrips 8 moved up, 67 remained equal and 31 shed values.
Nishat Mills Limited, United Bank Limited, and Dewan Salman Fibre Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Re 0.21, Re. 0.12 and Re 0.10 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.73, Rs 4.11 and Rs 2.60 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 296,626 shares, Fatima Fertilizer Company with 222,962 shares and Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 102,210 shares.
