Pakistan tennis superstar Aisam ul Haq Qureshi, made the nation proud after Qureshi along with Robert Lindstedt clinch the doubles title at the Antalya Open, on Friday.

“I feel super happy. To win my third title this year and my first team title with Robert is great,” said Qureshi, quoted ATP.

“I’ve been to Turkey many times and this is my first time in Antalya. I think it was a great event for the first year. I hope we can have it here for a few more years because I’d love to come back and defend my title,” said the 28th ranked doubles player.

Qureshi made the debut with his latest Swedish partner Lindstedt last year in Nottingham, but joined forces in Antalya for the first time.

The duo won the first set 7-5 and were leading 4-1 in the second set when second seeds Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic were forced to retire.

Qureshi has been enjoying a successful 2017, after he earlier won titles in Auckland (w/Matkowski) and Barcelona (w/Mergea).
