Federal Government on Thursday appointed Defence Secretary Kamran Rasool as Chairman PIA and Aslam R Khan as managing director PIA. According to a private TV channel their appointment notification has been issued, earlier both posts were vacant.
Zafar A Khan was appointed as Chairman but he tendered the resignation from his post. Both officers will take charge today (Friday) or from Monday. PIA is facing loss amounting to millions of rupees these days.
