NAB raids office of Education Department

MIRPURKHAS: A team of National Accountability Bureau on Wednesday raided the office of District Education Officer Mirpurkhas and seized the official record.

The raid was conducted followed by the arrest of Superintendent of DEO office Bachu Mal from his house in Hyderabad on Sunday. Bachu Mal is nominated in cases of corruption registered against him at NAB.

The accused has pointed out malpractices upon which the NAB team under the supervision of Investigation Officer Shahzad Noorani raided the office of DEO Mirpurkhas.

NAB team also searched the house of a peon Imran deputed in Bachu Mal's office.

After the arrest of Bachu Mal, it is expected that more officers of the Education Department may be rounded up.
