All's well between Veena and Asad Khattak

LAHORE: Pakistani actress Veena Malik and her husband Asad Khattak are going through tough phase of their lives as Veena has filed Khula. However, recent media reports claim that issues have been resolved between the couple.

According to latest reports, Asad has apologized for his behavior, during an interview to a local news channel. The actress, however, has not accepted his apologies.

Veena Malik, who was apparently quite angry over Asads behaviour, claimed that her husband had beaten and disrespected her. She said that he has this habit of apologizing to her but repeat the same mistakes again.

Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil played an important role in resolving the issue between Veena and Asad. Jameel assured Malik that his 'vote is with her' but also encouraged her to forgive her husband and "give him another chance".

"Your happiness is dear to me, but I also wish to see you raising a family," he told Malik.

"If he is asking you for forgiveness, give him one chance," he said. "He is saying it before so many people, he should be given another chance."

"I cannot question you Maulana sahib," Malik responded to Jameel's suggestion.

Asad Khattak also sought apology from her wife and asked Maulana Tariq Jameel to guarantee Veena that he will not behave badly with the actress again.

The couple married in Dubai in 2013 and has two children together.
