KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48832.09 with a negative change of 359.66 and volume of 23,201,800 shares.

High and Low were 49254.77 and 48815.09 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 66,258,670 shares with 328 total traded companies out of which 86 were up, 228 were down and 14 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,419,700 shares. It was followed by REFINERYwith a total traded volume of 10,037,550 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill. with a volume of 7,858,500 and price per share of 22.75 (0.75), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 4,705,000 of price per share of 14.49 (0.33), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 4,608,000 of price per share of 9.54 (0.03).

The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6034.72 (287.36), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7899.00 (99.00) and Millat TractorsXD. share of 1249.90 (15.16).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2394.98 (126.05), Nestle Pakistan. with price per share of 8900.00 (125.00) and Sanofi-Aventis per share of 2095.70 (110.30).
