RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Thursday having 49392.44 points with a negative change of 362.28 and volume of 96,516,810 shares.

High and Low were 49857.09 and 49219.55 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 220,426,020 shares with 394 total traded companies out of which 89 were up 286 were down and 19 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,562,700 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 22,208,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were Fauji Fert Bin with a volume of 6,188,000 and price per share of 56.61 (0.92), TPL Trakker Ltd with a volume 5,167,500 of price per share of 15.40 (1.00), Pak Refinery with a volume 4,666,000 of price per share of 59.88 (2.85).

The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize with price per share 7750.00 (200.00), Archroma Pak with price per share of 734.68 (34.68) and Shell Pakistan share of 645.95 (18.53).

The top three decliners were Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 9025.00 (275.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2653.71 (139.66) and Philip Morris Pak. share of 2333.00 (122.54).
