KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49694.09 with a positive change of 241.38 and volume of 59,359,090 shares.

High and Low were 49774.42 and 49422.89 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 124,259,980shares with 328 total traded companies out of which 198 were up, 118 were down and 12 were unchanged.

OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,867,600 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 15,670,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Sui South Gas. with a volume of 11,867,000 and price per share of 45.25 (1.52), Sui North Gas with a volume 7,331,500 of price per share of 140.34 (5.05), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 7,250,000 of price per share of 10.00 (0.05).

The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 4299.00 (199.00), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2450.00 (31.27) and Shell Pakistan. share of 625.00 (26.57).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2793.37 (147.01), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7550.00 (50.00) and Indus Dyeing. per share of 800.00 (38.00).
