Turkish Treasury sells 5-year bond at yield of 11.49pc in auction

ISTANBUL: The Turkish Treasury sold a net 1,928.8 million lira ($519 million) of a new five-year, fixed coupon bond at an average compound yield of 11.49 percent in an auction on Monday, central bank data showed.

It also sold a net 993.3 million lira in a tap of a nine-year, CPI-indexed bond at an average compound rate of 2.65 percent.
