RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army has set up a telephone helpline service for identifying terrorists and suspicious activities in the country.
The action came in the wake of a suicide attack at the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine that martyred over 80 and injured more than 300. The country suffered a deadly week with suicide attacks in Lahore, Mohmand Agency, Peshawar and Sehwan which killed over 107 people and injured several hundreds.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army has issued two numbers 1135 and 1125 to provide information.
The move by the army was due to a wave of terrorism in the country.

Following the suicide bombing in Sehwan, the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was closed with immediate effect due to security reasons.
The COAS, in his message to countrymen, said, Army is for security of people of Pakistan against all types of threats. Nation must stay steadfast with full confidence in their security forces. We shall not let the hostile agenda succeed whatever it may cost.
