The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced the 16-member Test squad for the upcoming tour to Australia.
Pakistan Cricket chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq finalised the team after consultation with National Selection Committee which included Pakistans Head Coach Mickey Arthur and Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, the PCB said in a statement.
Pakistan would play three Test matches against Australia, with the first Test to be played from Dec 15-19 at Brisbane Cricket Ground, while the second Test will be played from Dec 26-30 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, and the final Test will be played from Jan 3-7, 2017, at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
SQUAD: Misbah ul Haq (Captain), Azhar Ali, Sami Aslam, Sharjeel Khan, Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed (Wicket keeper), Mohammad Rizwan, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali, Sohail Khan, Imran Khan.
