Pakistan gets its first cyber harassment hotline

A foundation for Digital Rights, has announced Pakistans first cyber harassment hotline that goes live on 1st December and can be reached at 0800-39393.

According to the announcement made on DRFs facebook page (Digital Rights Foundation) the hotline would be a free, safe and confidential haven for victims of online harassment; providing legal advice, digital security support, psychological counseling and a referral system to the victims.

The soft launch of the helpline will be held at a women empowerment conference on November 28, in Islamabad.
