Pakistans fast bowler Imran Khan was impressive during the fourth day of the second and last Test match against hosts New Zealand after he grabbed three wickets including the crucial wicket of Black Caps skipper Kane Williamson.
Khan, more importantly, also claimed a very unique new record to his name for the longest wait for a run in Test cricket on Sunday.
The 29-year-old quickie doubled the previous world record when he finally got on the board with the bat during the second Test against New Zealand in Hamilton. It was his first runs in Test cricket, despite making his debut against Australia in October 2014, reported Fox Sports.
Khan was playing his eighth Test match, which is four more than the previous holder for the longest wait to score a run in Test cricket. However, as a batsman it was Imran Khans fifth innings, in two of those innings he remained not out on naught.
The batting dry spell was finally broken after he got off the mark with a thick edge through gully for two runs.
Khan celebrated his first runs with a sheepish grin and even raised his bat.
