Market Committee issues price list of fruit, vegetables

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Monday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.

According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:

Potato Rs.41, Onion Rs.30, Tomato 36, Ginger Rs.100, Garlic Dasi Rs.305, Garlic (China) Rs.295, Lemon Rs.80, Lady Finger Rs 75, Pumpkin Rs.30, Brinjal Rs.35, Peas Rs.140, Farsh Bean Rs.80, Tanda Walaiti Rs.54, Cucumber Rs.41, Capsicum Rs.110/75, Green Chilli Rs.58, Cauliflower Rs.25/18, Cabbage Rs.50, Bitter gourd Rs.98/70, Green Zucchini Rs 110, Spinach Rs.20/15, Raddish Rs.16, Turmip Rs 25, Maroo Rs.40, Yam Rs.55, Carrot Rs.62, Chicken Rs.127 and Egg per dozen Rs. Rs 123.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs.118/70, Apple Golden Rs.90/55, Apple White Rs.62/45, Apple Ambri Rs 60/45, Apple Moshadi Rs 60/48, Apple China Rs 150/120, Banana Pak Rs.85/50, Banana Indian Rs.140 /120, Rapes Tafi Rs 140/115, Gauva Rs 58/35, Japani Amlok Rs 77/54, Pomegranate Rs 156/120, Musami Sharkri Rs 80/60, Musami Punjabi Rs 70/50 and Fruiter Rs 70/45.

The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
