Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim on Sunday said that there was no conflict between the coalition partners of the Sindh government.
Talking to newsmen here at the inaugural ceremony of a watercourse, he said that there was no conflict with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the government would complete its tenure.
To a question about the demolition of villages in Karachi, he said all the katchi abadies existing before 1985 would be given lease, adding that operation against land-grabbers would continue and no leniency would be shown in this regard.
He said that Irfanullah Marwat was the head of the committee set up in this regard and decision would be taken after this committee filed its report.
Later, talking to newsmen at the reception hosted in his honour by District Nazim Aqib Jatoi, he said that land grabbers were very active in Karachi. He said that most of them were Afghanis and so-called nationalists, adding that they would have to vacate the lands illegally occupied.
To a question about Nishtar Park tragedy, he said the government was making a fair and transparent probe into this issue and all the facts would be brought before the masses.
He said that stern action would be taken against the terrorists involved in Nishtar Park tragedy.
To another question, the chief minister said that probe was being conducted into the mismanagement in interviews of primary teachers.
