GemNet Gulf LLC, a Dubai-based turnkey power solutions provider, has inked an agreement with Gulf Smart Solutions LLC, which allows both companies to enter into a joint venture for merging their UAE operations.
The Gulf Smart Solutions, a leading UAE electrical and structured cabling company, works under the Al-Shafar Group, operating from Dubai Internet City.
According to company's officials, the deal was signed in Dubai by Mohammad Saif Al Shafar, Chairman, Al-Shafar Group of companies and Raza Namazi, Managing Director, GemNet (Pvt) Ltd, an associated concern of GemNet Gulf in Pakistan.
The newly formed joint venture company, to be known as GemNet Gulf Smart Solutions (GGSS), is a power solutions provider offering every level of power protection hardware, software, services and structured cabling solutions to the UAE and regional markets.
The Managing Director of GemNet (Pvt) Ltd, Raza Namazi, said, "This new joint venture, with the support of Al-Shafar Group, will now have greater resources to support our customers in the region, and will further increase our product portfolio and cater to a broader customer base."
He said, "The joint venture will give us the opportunity to provide more innovative and comprehensive power solutions to the booming Gulf markets and enable us to further enhance our reputation as one of the leading and most professional power solutions companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), just as we are in Pakistan."
The GGSS and GemNet (Pvt) Ltd represent several well-known brands, like Eaton Powerware (USA), the world's leading manufacturer of power protection hardware and software, C&D Technologies Inc (USA), and Germanos /Sunlight (Greece), recognised leaders in the manufacturing of a wide range of lead acid batteries.
GemNet's products range and services include uninterrupted power systems (AC&DC), isolation transformers, high rating stabilisers, VRLA maintenance-free batteries, static transfer switches, structured cabling solutions, distribution cabinets and units (PDUs), critical power site audits and a wide range of services including Design of power distribution networks, transmitter/receiver/ microwave antenna testing and installation.
Saeed Mohammad Saif Bin Shafar and Abdulaziz Bin Shafar from Al Shafar Group of Companies, Nadir Mir Mohammadi, Executive Director and Jack Valedian, General Manager from GemNet Gulf, Raed Bani Hani, Managing Director, Trojan MEP Engineering Consultants, and Sa'ad A Bani Hani, General Manager, Gulf Smart Solutions were also present on the occasion.
