Piracy king Torrent rises again

Published Updated

imageOne of the world largest piracy website Kickass Torrents, torrent search engine website Torrentz.eu is back again online, but this time in a new avatar.

The metadata search engine has made a comeback with a cleaner sleeker look as torrentz2.eu.As per Hack Reads, Torrentz.eu, one of the Internet’s largest torrent meta-search engine shut down days ago on August 5, 2016, without stating a reason. The newer website is the clone of the previous.

”Torrentz2.eu is a clone of Torrentz, a free, fast and powerful meta-search engine combining results from dozens of search engines Indexing 59,642,496 torrents from 124,468,859 pages We will always love you Torrentz. Goodbye,” according to the statement on Torrentz2.eu’s homepage

Last month, Artem Vaulin, the alleged Ukrainian owner of Kickass Torrents, was arrested in Poland and was charged with a four-count US criminal indictment that was followed by the closing of torrent site.

However, the shutdown of the original torrent website has led to the surfacing of several clone sites, states NDTV. As of late nobody has come out to take ownership of this clone domain nor have there been any signs of its previous existence.
