6th Expo Pakistan held from October 20

KARACHI: District Coordination Officer (DCO), Karachi Roshan Ali Shaikh has said that City District Government Karachi will hold the 6th Expo Pakistan as an international festival.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting in DCO Camp office which was attended by Director General Parks Liaquat Ali Khan, EDO Works and Services Altaf G. Memon and others, said a statement issued here on Saturday.

He said all available resources of city government will be utilized and efforts will also be made to take on board other government and semi government organizations, private firms and common citizens for this event.

The participants were informed that the 6th Expo Pakistan was scheduled to be held from October 20 to 23 in Karachi Expo Centre.

The event is considered as one of the Pakistan's international event which is expected to be attended and visited by renowned personalities from all over the country as well as from about 94 countries and more than 450 delegates.

The DCO Karachi said this is an honour for the city to host this important event and the people of Karachi are hosts of Expo Pakistan.

Roshan Ali Shaikh said "we can make this event an international festival with joint efforts".

EDO E and IP Dr.Saif-ur-Rehman will be the focal person for Expo Pakistan on behalf of the City District Government Karachi.

The DCO Karachi has also called a meeting of all cantonment boards and other government and semi government organizations in his office on Monday to further review the arrangements for the event.

EDO Municipal Services Dr. Shoukat Zaman, EDO E and IP Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman, Executive Director Local Taxes Mohammad Rehan Khan, Administrators of Saddar and Jamshed Town and representatives of KWSB and Trade Development Authority were also present on the occasion.
