ISLAMABAD: MNA Pakistan Peoples Party Fauzia Habib has said that President Zardari and PPP government are following the policy of reconciliation with all political parties to confront the challenges with national unity.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, she said had the previous governments allowed IPPs function freely, Pakistan would have produced surplus electricity and the country would have not faced present power crisis.
She asked political parties to get united to resolve national issues and strengthen democracy, otherwise, the people will lose their trust in political parties and democracy.
She said President Asif Ali Zardari demonstrated leadership role and get passed 18th amendment, NFC award, gave political rights to the people of Gilgit Baltistan and FATA.
Mehreen Anwar Raja, MNA PPP also said that political parties should not play with the sentiments of public on the issues like load-shedding for political point scoring.
She said the government has resolved present issue of load -shedding.
She said PML-N is doing politics on non-issues for its political survival as it has national agenda.
She said PPP government will complete its term despite wishful thinking of some political forces.
