KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced once again to mingle with the PPP led coalition government on Wednesday.

Following the decision of its return, MQM’s ministers would soon be taking charge of their lost posts in federal as well as in provincial governments.

Earlier a meeting was held at the governor house between the leadership of MQM and that of PPP, where the latter was successful in winning the support of its former coalition partner.

In the meeting the Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad announced that the decision to rejoin the government had been taken in view of the immense challenges faced by the country.

He added that the MQM had not made any demands with respect to portfolios that would be accorded to ministers, that decision will be at the discretion of the PPP.
