ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee Wednesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 35, Onion Rs 28, Tomato 30, Ginger Rs 94, Garlic Rs 188, Garlic (China) Rs 182, Lemon Rs 122, Lady Finger Rs 44, Green Zucchini Rs 40, Pumpkin Rs 37, Brinjal Rs 38, Peas Rs 128, Farsh Bean Rs 86, Tanda Walaiti Rs 72, Tanda Desi Rs 75, Cucumber Rs 40, Capsicum Rs 58/36, Green Chilli Rs 50, Cauliflower Rs 78/50, Cabbage Rs 35, Bitter gourd Rs 34, Spinach Rs 38, Raddish Rs 38, Turnip Rs 48, Maroo Rs 48, Yam Rs 70, Carrot Rs 56, Chicken Rs 143 and Egg per dozen Rs 79.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 150/135, Apple Ambri Rs 92/67, Apple White Rs 94/70, Apple China Rs 205/185, Apple Newziland Rs 258/230, Banana Pak Rs 142/108, Banana Ind Rs 165/145, Pear China Rs 165, Melon Rs 34/24, White Melon Rs 30/24, Watermelon Rs 23/17, Apricot Rs 110/90, Peach Rs 155/135, Garma Rs 64/46, Mango Sundari Rs 130/105, Mango Maldeh Rs 74/65, Mango Almas Rs 65/48, Mango Langra Rs 65/48, Mango Chusa Rs 124/92, Mango Dosari Rs 75/52, Mango Ratool Rs 115/132, Mango Desi Rs 60/45 and Apricot Kabli Rs 165/145.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
