Sugar down on grain market

A couple of commodities traded on the seed and grain wholesale markets, amid modest business on Monday (May 24, 2004).
On the sugar side, sugar inferior lost Rs 10 to Rs 1630 and better quoted at Rs 1670. On the gram sector had a solo change in yellow peas inferior quoted higher at Rs 1570 and better quoted at Rs 1590.
Cotton cakes new inferior was quoted at Rs 530 and better quoted down at Rs 532.
