ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said that the government believes in full expression of views and it is the right of every member to speak on all issues in the Parliament.
Speaking in the National Assembly in response to PML-N's Ahsan Iqbal point of order he said, the PPP is a democratic party and fully believes in democracy, adding, even if there is any difference of opinion within the party they can freely express it and that is the beauty of democracy.
Earlier, PPP MNA Akhunzada Chatan on a point of order informed the National Assembly that the political administration of FATA is not implementing the amendment in Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) Act that prisoners of below the age of 12 years and above 60 years would not be kept in jails. He demanded action against the concerned political agents.
On this Ihsan Iqbal stood and said that such matters should be discussed within the party meetings as this is not the proper forum to discuss such issues.
