TOKYO: Japanese shares fell 1.05 percent Tuesday as the weak euro weighed on exporters amid worries over the eurozone debt crisis and US economy.
The Nikkei index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange fell 89.36 points to 8,456.12, rebounding from the midday low of 8,359.24.
The Topix index of all first section shares lost 1.46 percent, or 10.93 points, to 736.18.
