LONDON: Gasoline refining margins swaps in northwest Europe weakened in the week to Monday.
French CGT union workers have suspended their strike at Total's Gonfreville refinery in Normandy, a union official said on Saturday. This follows decisions on Friday by CGT union workers to suspend their strike at Total's Donges and Feyzin refineries.
This effectively ends the nearly three-week strike at four of Total's refineries.
Diesel supplies in northwest Europe and western Mediterranean were seen rising as more cargoes were booked from Russia, the Middle East and Asia.
Regional production was also on the rise, traders said.
Global refining capacity was set to increase by 2.7 million bpd from May to June and an additional 2 million bpd in July as refineries return from maintenance, according to Morgan Stanley.
